FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What should I bring to my 1 year old’s session?

   You can bring as much or as little as you like. Some people bring a smash cake, balloons and streamers. Other go more non-traditional and bring flowers, confetti or just their sweet baby!

2. Do you keep 1 year session props?

   No. Everyone has such different style and their own creative ideas, I have noticed that most people didn’t need anything! I am happy to ideate with you, though.

3. Can we also get some family shots in this session?

   Absolutely!

4. What time of day is best?

   Depends on your baby! However, I usually like to suggest morning or nowhere near the beginning or end of a nap.

5. What if my little one doesn’t even touch the cake?

   That’s ok! This is all about capturing your child and their personality, exactly as they are. If that means they aren’t into the cake-that’s ok!- we will still capture plenty of other great shots!

6. Floating balloons with helium or balloons tossed on the ground?

   Either will work, however, balloons tossed on the ground tend to be more in frame, consistently than helium-filled balloons.
